The Woodenman Inn is located near the heart of Lijiang Old Town. Built in the classic Naxi style wooden house yet providing all the comforts of home!
Our Inn is very conveniently located as it is only 7 mins walk to Sifang Square and only 2 mins away from Zhongyi Market. And unlike most other inns in Lijiang old Town, you can directly access our inn by car making it very easy to get to our inn from the airport or bus terminal and also easy for you to arrange for your sightseeing needs. We have english speaking staff who can help with your travel arrangements and sightseeing or just chit chat!
As our guests, we hope to treat you as our friends and you treat our inn as your own home. Like our motto, 'Your home away from home', we hope that everyone who visits feels like they have made new friends in Old Town and discovered a new home they can call their own when they leave.
The Woodenman Inn is located near the South Gate of Lijiang Old Town. Far enough from Sifang Jie that you can sleep in peace (The noise from the bars and town centre can be heard in most in near Sifang Jie up to 2 am in the morning) yet close enough to walk there within 7 mins.
Our inn is also accessible by car which are not allowed closer to the town centre so those unfamiliar with Old Town can easily reach us by Taxi. Our Inn is also within walking distance of the Southgate bus terminal so travelers from Kunming and Dali can also walk in if so desired.
We are about 27 km from Lijiang Airport, 30 mins by car to Suhe Old Town, 20 mins walk to Black Dragon Pool.
