City Public Hostel

At City Public Hostel we offer cheap beds and friendly and easygoing atmosphere only 10 min. walk from central Copenhagen. City Public Hostel is run by Vesterbro Ungdomsgaard - a well renowned after-school activity center.

If you want your stay to be as cheap as possible, then bring your own bedlinen/sleeping bag, pillow, towel and padlock. We can provide these items, but it will cost a little money. If you feel like it you are of cause more than welcome to do without them as well.

We provide access to a large front lawn for relaxation and a backyard where it is possible to barbecue. A good place to meet your fellow travelers is our lobby. Guest are also free to use our large well assorted kitchen to cook and socialize. Free Wi-Fi is available or you can use our computer to go online for a small fee.

Our reception is open 24h and check-in can be done between noon and 5am. Check-out is at 10am. We have no age limit - people of any age are welcome to stay here. As we are an independent hostel we don\'t require membership of a hostel-club of any sort. We only accept cash - no credit cards at all, but there are several ATMs close by.

The security lockers are free to use if you bring your own padlock and locks can be bought at the reception if needed. Showers are accessible almost all day except for an hour in the morning when they are closed for cleaning.

In 2012 City Public Hostel is open from May 25 to August 30.
