Description   Hostel Los Helechos

Hostel Los Helechos is situated in a quiet place of the capital, very close to the Comalapa International Airport's highway and touristic places such as: Los Planes de Renderos, El Zapote Museum and the Zoo, in the South side of the historic downtown center.

It has an excellent connection to several buses like Route # 1 and small micro buses going to San Marcos. Los Helechos is almost in front of the Mormon church in Colonia America.

Four of its room have shared bathroom and one of them, a private toilet and shower.

Los Helechos have a patio garden for a relaxing time and a bar with international drinks.

Every room has a TV and the ambiance is familiar, ideal for budget travelers and women traveling alone.

Directions

To get to Los Helechos you can take bus # 1 to Colonia America. Ask the driver to stop close to the Mormon Church, 50 meters away in pasaje Alberto 305-A you will see the hostel in a big two floor house color green. On the other hand, any bus going to San Marcos from any place in San Salvador like Metrocentro can take you to Los Helechos. From the international airport a taxi fare is $ 18 US. Beside the hostel, in front of the Mormon Church is a 'pupuseria' , a restaurant
specialized in native meals.
