Visit our family run guest house, built in the 1800s, at the centre of the beautiful spa mountain town of Menzenschwand, near St Blasien and Feldberg in the Southern Black Forest area of Germany. A stones throw from the Swiss and French borders allowing easy travel to Alsace, Strasbourg, Lake Constance and Basel. Whether you prefer 'hotel type' services or a self-catering studio apartment, this is the perfect base for happy holidays - summer or winter! There is excellent Nordic walking and skiing with beginners well catered for at the village ski school. Children and well behaved dogs are welcome.

Directions

It's not necessary to have a car to enjoy a trip to the Black Forest, all our guests qualify for a free public transport pass. The nearest train station is at Schluchsee. Travel from Freiburg (approx 45 -60 mins) or Basel via Waldshut. Bus, train and airport transfers are available. Please ask for details!
