Our hotel is located in Bavaria, about 30 minutes from the World Heritage Site Regensburg in Upper
Palatinate Forest, and 13 Km from Weiden, nearby the Czech border, our inn ('2 stars' according to the German hotel rating) is a convenient starting point to set out for bigger or smaller excursions in the middle of the Upper Palatinate Forest. It offers you all conditions to enjoy your refreshing holidays. Situated only 20 km (approx. 14 miles) off the border crossing to the Czech Republic Waidhaus it's worthwhile to go on a trip to the famous spa triangle (Karlsbad - Marienbad - Franzensbad).
To the Golden City of Prague it takes about 2 hours to travel by car. Also ideal for journeys by bus. Rustic dining room with fire place: with satellite TV, suitable for group and family celebrations up to 25 persons.

Further Information: Leuchtenberg Castle, largest remains of Upper Palatinate castle complex. There you may go to the castle festival from June till August including special children programmes. In addition marked footpaths and cycling trails are running past our village. Local bus companies are supplying varying programmes of excursions to our region and to the nearby Czech Republic (depending on demand).

Directions

You drive the autobahn A 6, direction Czech Republic/Praha/CZ, 20 km before border, nearby the town Vohenstrauß, you leave the autobahn A 6 - exit Vohenstrauß-West and follow the signs to Oberlind.

If you arrive by railway, the station is Weiden, about 18 km away from Oberlind. From Weiden we pick you up with our shuttle-bus
