Breakfast in bed included for every guest.

Once upon a time, way before Ryanair began to fly in millions of visitors to Ireland, even long before the first Aer Lingus flight took off, moreover when the Wright brothers were not even born, just later to invent flying, The Holyhead opened its doors for sailors that crossed the Irish sea, departing from the Welsh port town of Holyhead. This was in 1804 and the founders of one of the first B&B-s of Dublin in all probability had no idea how ideal the location would prove for the travellers of the twenty-first century.

A decade before the world's very first locomotives steamed along, a century before the engine of the first omnibus revved up, when the major overland means of transport were horses, who would ever have imagined there would be a train station (Connolly Station) and a central bus station (Busaras) just around the corner? Or that those few pubs on the opposite side of the river would later multiply, and become the world famous Temple Bar nightlife area?

Two hundred years have passed since then, a lot of history for Dublin, this newly cosmopolitan, very vibrant city is now part of a different country. Answering the call of the age of travelling, the easygoing staff gave a twist to the interior and the atmosphere of the old Guest house, and created a cool and cosy little property, Dublin's smallest. We have enough time and attention for every guest, so come tired traveller, stay with us for a few days!

Directions

From the airport:
The cheapest way is the regular city bus nr 41. It only costs 2 Euros, but it's somewhat less frequent than the more expensive airport shuttles (Airlink € 6, Aircoach € 8). It brings you to the same place (the famous 129 metres tall monument: the Spire in the city centre, O'Connell Street), and the time difference is only a few minutes, so we recommend to take nr 41. From O'Connell Street turn left on Talbot Street, walk three minutes on the left hand side and find us on the corner of Gardiner Street.

From the central bus station, Busaras:
Turn on Gardiner Street, walk one minute on the left hand side and find us on the corner of Talbot Street.
