The Judy House

In Negril, Jamaica's capital of casual are my 2 beautiful wooden cottages & 4 backpacker rooms set in my gorgeous tropical garden, located at West Land Mountain, off the West End Road in Negril, Westmoreland. Jamaica.

The 2 clean, cosy, spacious self catering cottages, 'Judy House' and 'Kim's Place' have one large bedroom, pretty bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, large front verandas (porches) and private patios. The cottage bedrooms can sleep 2 or 3 (or even 4 at a squeeze)) & have plenty of hanging/shelf space, tables, chairs, lamps, safes, hairdryers, iron, etc.

One 4 the Road, nestling at the back of the Judy House property are 4 small, popular, self catering 'backpackers' rooms (3 single rooms and 1 x 2 bed dorm) which have their own outdoor bathroom, kitchen and communal space.

All Cottages & rooms come with linens, towels and safes. There's free Wifi for everyone but Cable TV in the 2 cottages only. The kitchens are fully equipped throughout with stoves, fridges, microwaves, grill ovens, kettles, coffee makers, pans, pots & utensils etc.

It's a great location, set in a friendly local 'mixed' community. The community keeps some great social rules through the local Neighbourhood Watch like 'no harassing visitors and no loud music late!'

Fenced and gated with timed outdoor lights and car parking. In the 1/4 acre property you will have plenty of privacy but are welcome to use other areas of the garden if you wish, including the bar b que, communal table, sun deck, outside baths & shower.

Country and pretty, but only 10 minutes from the beach at West End Road and you can see the sea from parts of the garden. There is a local cook shop/bar close by and down the road there are local shops, lots of amenities, including local beach, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, cliff restaurants, downtown shops & banks, not forgetting Negril's famous 7 mile, beautiful white sand beach.

NOTE: One 4 the Road rooms are designed specifically for BACK PACKERS ONLY, who are used to traveling with basic amenities. These are NOT CHEAP HOTEL ROOMS.

The Judy House, Cottages & Rooms are located up Westland Mountain Road, off the One Love Drive, West End in Negril, Westmoreland.

Turn left after MX111 Entertainment Centre. (5 -10 minutes walk from the West End Road).
Sue, the owner, can also arrange airport shuttles & taxis; bike, scooter, bicycle rentals; big bike rentals; tours & fishing trips; scuba diving or snorkeling before or after arrival.
