This beautiful colonial house is centrally located on Plaza Del Cerillo in one of the oldest districts in the city beside the Santo Domingo convent and famous artisan and food markets. The house is clean and cosy with a large garden and stunning views of the city.

The dormitory includes safe lockers beside each bed and a wall size window with a panoramic view of the flower filled garden and slate roofs of the city beyond. Private rooms are also available.

The quaint kitchen is the heart of the house complete with a range cooker, tea, coffee and and a refrigerator for communal use.

Cleaned twice daily the house is run by helpful staff who are always on hand to help with any questions and advice as well as tour bookings.

Posada 5 is full of extras for guests to enjoy; free wi-fi, towels, hot water 24 hours a day, a camp fire, hammocks for relaxing and even a basket ball net! Fresh fruit breakfast is provided for guests in high season.

If you come by bus you can easily reach the posada from the station: walk up Insurgentes Street., cross the central park and go along General Utrilla Street. After 5 blocks turn right into Comitan Street and we are No. 13, located in front of Plaza del Cerrillo, one of the oldest barrios of the City which conserves the traditional and multi cultural life of San Cristobal.
