Complexo Turistico Josef & Tina
Complexo turistico Josef & Tina also called «Casa Josef & Tina» is a small comfortable and affordable beachfront lodge situated in one of the best places of Mozambican beach in Vilanculos town, Inhambane province, about 730 km´s north from Maputo.
Apart from the guesthouse we also have three suites, three chalets, camp site and bar/restaurant. With beautiful views across the sea to the romantic islands of the archipelago Bazaruto (National Park of Bazaruto). The lodge is on the ideal site to explore exotic surroundings as well as the archipelago islands, coral reefs and experience fishing, diving and snorkeling on crystalline and warm waters of Indian Ocean. Nice garden enables guests to relax and feel the cooling breeze from the sea. We give 10% discount to customers who stay more than 7 nights.
Directions
By car:
From South Africa:
The recommended route is via Nelspruit / Komatipoort, Maputo (90 km’s), Xai-Xai (230 km’s), Maxixe (250 km's). About 230 km's north of Maxixe (in Pambarra) you turn right to Vilanculos (20 km’s). Total distance from Maputo is about 730 km’s.
Once into Vilanculos you drive through until the T junction, than turn right and after about 100 m turn left to the beach and follow the signs to Complexo turistico Josef e Tina. It is about 800 meters from this point to the lodge, only.
By air - From South Africa or Maputo:
Vilankulo has an international airport, and one can fly daily direct from Johannesburg International Airport or Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (Nelspruit) to Vilankulo.
There are also limited flights with LAM via Beira or Maputo to Vilankulo.TTA (t/a Pelican Air Johannesburg) and SAA Skylink offer schedules flights from Johannesburg and Maputo daily into Vilanculos. It is possible to charter a small aircraft that can fly direct from Johannesburg to Vilanculos.
