When not relaxing on the patios, or playing in the pool, we offer an ideal location from which you can truly appreciate the unique character of this area.

From the Mountains of the 'Serra de Estrela' (90 mins) to the golden beaches of 'Figueira de Foz', (60 mins) the renowned beauty of this area offers a wide variety of choice for everyone. Whether your hobbies include painting, horseriding, walking, cycling, sight-seeing, shopping, eating out, or simply soaking up the sun, you are guaranteed to relax, unwind and enjoy your stay with us.

There are 6 available bedrooms in our rustic Portuguese property, which is full of character and offers a comfortable and spacious environment for our guests.

The guest accommodation comprises of one double bedroom with Ensuite shower room, two double bedrooms each with a private shower room, a further double room and twin room share a shower room. All rooms have a fan to circulate air.

These rooms are accessible from a veranda adjoining the main house - a lovely place to sit and relax in the evenings and catch the late sun.

The dining room which can comfortably sit up to ten people is situated inside the main house. Guests will be provided with a continental breakfast in the mornings (included in the price) and evening meals can be provided, at an extra cost.

We have also provided a comfortable lounge area with honesty Bar for our guests, including a fridge and Satellite television. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, for contacting family and friends.

Guests can also make use of the large secluded patio area to the rear of the property. Here you can use the barbeque and eat outside under the gazebo, have a swim in the outside pool or relax on the sun beds. There is also plenty of room for outdoor games.

Own Transport Essential as we are in a rural area, although pick-up/drop-off to Coimbra B train station can be arranged.

From Porto airport take A1 to Coimbra North,(1 hour) IP3 to Penacova second exit. Roundabout 1st exit, Roundabout 2nd exit.Over bridge turn right to Vila nova Poiares. Straight across all roundabouts to Gois.
Just before Gois, at Barreiro, turn left to Chao do Santos, Telhada, Carapinhal. Casa das Videiras is 1km on right.

From Coimbra,take the N17 to Vila nova Poiares. After the second roundabout turn right to Gois.Just before Gois, at Barreiro, turn left to Chao do Santos, Telhada, Carapinhal. Casa das Videiras is 1km on right.
