Description   Hostal Apolo

A guesthouse style hotel ideal for travellers who are looking for a place to sleep with good public transport connections to the rest of Barcelona, when they are not out partying or seeing the sights. Facilities are simple, but the property has been recently refurbished and offers a high standard of budget accommodation, with meticulously clean rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. There is a drink machine available in the common area (coffee, non-alcoholic drinks).

All rooms are well kept, some have bathroom, whereas others have shared facilities. There is TV in all rooms, some of which come with airconditioning during Summer months. Rooms can be heated in the winter.


At the Apolo hostel we have single, double, triple and Quadruple rooms with and without a bath, and all of which have been recently renovated.

Double room with possibility to add another bed.

Check out time at 11am
Check in at 12am but you can leave your luggage in our Hostal until the room is ready.

Directions

We are located in the Sants-Monjuïc neighbourhood in Barcelona, near the Paral·lel metro subway station - 1-2 mins walk (from here line 2 takes you to Sagrada Familia, and line 3 takes you to Las Ramblas, Placa Catalunya), a taxi stop, and bus stops (buses 20,36,57,64,91,N0 and N6). There is also a funicular that goes up to the top of the Montjuïc mountain.

A ten-minute walk will take you to the most important sites: Ramblas, the port, theatres, the Gothic quarter, etc.

From the airport:

The Aerobus Every 15 min. 2007 Price: 3,90 E.or public bus(number 41) you must get off at Plaça Espanya.Once you are there you need to get rhe metro system. Catch the green line in the direction od Canyelles and get off at Paral•lel stop. Take the exit called Nou de la Rambla. You can see Apolo's Theater, we are behind this building. In front of the Theater you should go to the right to Nou de la Rambla. Walk along Nou de la Rambla for one block until you reach the street Vilà i Vilà. Turn left and inmediately right again into Lafont street. We are at number 1.

By Train:
There is only one train which is called RENFE. Take it to Sants Station (Barcalona's central station). Once you are there you need to get the metro system. Catch the green line in the direction od Canyelles and get off at Paral•lel stop. Take the exit called Nou de la Rambla. You can see Apolo's Theater, we are behind this building. In front of the Theater you should go to the right to Nou de la Rambla. Walk along Nou de la Rambla for one block until you reach the street Vilà i Vilà. Turn left and inmediately right again into Lafont street. We are at number 1.
Line 10 ( Aeropuerto - Estació de França). Every 30 min. 2007 Price: 2,50 E. You should get off on Barcelona Sants (Aeropuerto - El Prat de
Llobregat - Bellvitge - Barcelona Sants ).

Taxi: around 20 min and 25 E. Ask taxi driver about the price before get in and insure he understand Lafont street is close to Paral·lel station. It's
not a famous street but it's a famous area (theater area) and still some of them get 'lost' coming to the hostel.
