North Charleston is known as the transportation and business center for the lower half of the State of South Carolina. One of the main attractions of this city is the 14,000-seat coliseum, home
of the local ice hockey team, the Stingrays and a 2,250-seat Performing Arts Center, which are housed in the Charleston Area Convention Center Complex. The Performing Arts Center hosts a wide variety of events including Broadway shows, music concerts, and ice shows. The International Airport and Amtrack Stations are both located in North Charleston. The main Airport is located only 2 miles from the Economy Inn. Greyhound bus less than a mile and buses that run in and out of the city center, and historic old town run past our street every 20 minutes!

We offer Free Shuttles to Greyhound and Amtrak. You must have advance reservation and confirmation number. call us from arrival point and we will come get you. Both Greyhound and Amtrak are 1/2 mile away and the Downtown bus leaves from our door every 20 minutes, so you can site see and hangout in historic Charleston. The Airport is tax or Local Shuttle Service- we are only 2 miles away .
