One block from the subways A, B,C,D. Our other location is Highbridge House also listed on this site at 173rd street. Parking available right across the hostel for $15 per day. Yankee stadium is a mile away or next subway stop.

Directions to Highbridge House 146th Uptown

• From JFK International Airport. Take the Air Train to Howard Beach/159th Avenue, a 12-minute ride. Transfer to “A” express going towards Inwood-207 Street/Broadway. Be in the back compartment of the subway. Get off at the 145th Street stop. Take N.E. corner exit marked 145th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue on the left. Exit up the stairs and go past Edgecombe Street until you reach Bradhurst Avenue where you take a left. We are on the corner of 146th Street and Bradhurst Avenue. Travel cost per person from JFK to Howard Beach station via Air Train is $5.00. You pay an additional $2.00 for the subway. A taxi is a flat rate of $45.00 (subject to change) and takes approximately 45 minutes.

• From Newark International Airport. Take NJ Transit from the airport train terminal to 34th Street Penn Station, transfer to the “A” express going to Inwood-207 Street/Broadway. Be in the back compartment of the subway. Get off at the 145th Street stop. Take N.E. corner exit marked 145th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue on the left. Exit up the stairs and go past Edgecombe Street until you reach Bradhurst Avenue where you take a left. We are on the corner of 146th Street and Bradhurst Avenue. Travel cost per person from Newark to Penn Station via NJ Transit is $5. You pay an additional $2.00 for the subway. A taxi is approximately $50.00 and takes 45 minutes.

• From La Guardia International Airport. Take the M60 Bus from La Guardia International Airport to 125th street. Transfer free with Metrocard to the “A” express going to Inwood-207 Street/Broadway. Be in the back compartment of the subway. Get off at the 145th Street stop. Take N.E. corner exit marked 145th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue on the left. Exit up the stairs and go past Edgecombe Street until you reach Bradhurst Avenue where you take a left. We are on the corner of 146th Street and Bradhurst Avenue. Travel cost per person from La Guardia Airport to 125th Street station via the M60 Bus is $2. A taxi is a flat rate of approximately $ 35 and takes 35 minutes.
