Delight in the Inn on Bellevue's Victorian era decor, with most rooms boasting four poster beds and Queen Anne style furnishings, as well as updated luxuries such as a jacuzzi for two in our spacious 'Mr. Vanderbilt' room.

Built in Newport, RI in 1891, the Inn On Bellevue was the home of William Fludders, a well known silversmith. This elegantly decorated home was carefully transformed into the classic Inn On Bellevue Avenue Bed and Breakfast with each room tastefully decorated to provide its own unique Newport personality. Enjoy historic charm and modern conveniences with all rooms and suites being air conditioned.

This combination of history and modern amenities offers visiting families (in our apartments) and couples (in our guest rooms) the best of both worlds with affordable nightly and weekly rates for all your Newport vacation needs. Some rooms allow pets. We are 2 blocks from our Newport downtown waterfront area and 5 minutes from Newport's beaches and mansions.

Continental Breakfast in our European Cafe and free parking for one vehicle per room are included with all our accommodations. We can easily accommodate groups and weddings not only in the Inn on Bellevue, but also in Bellevue Manor and Bellevue House, our other bed and breakfasts on this same block on Bellevue Avenue.

Directions

From the south: Rt 95 North to Rhode Island exit 3 for Rt 138 East to Newport. Cross the bridges and take the first exit 'Scenic Newport.' At the bottom of the exit turn right onto Farewell Street. Straight through two lights. Turn left at the third light onto Touro Street. Go straight through two sets of lights and you will be on Bellevue Avenue. Turn left onto Catherine Street and park behind Inn on Bellevue.

From the North take Rt 95 or Rt 93 to RT 128 to Rt 24 South through Fall River and continue to follow signs on Rt 24 to Newport to Rt 138 South to Newport. Go left onto Rt 138A Beaches and you will connect to Memorial Boulevard. At the lights after the beach turn right onto Bellevue Avenue. Turn right on Catherine Street and park in back of the building. We are 28 Bellevue Ave.
