Description
Hotel Termas and Spa Refugio Comanjilla is a secluded getaway located 13 miles outside of the city of Leon and surrounded by beautiful gardens. In 1855, the hotel was used as a place to rest and relax by traders heading towards other mining communities. The hotel is now a Hacienda that offers 125 rooms decorated in colonial modern style, each with a terrace view to the gardens or the pool. Just steps away from the hotel lies the aquatic park, Parque Acuatico Comanjilla, which features waterslides and a pool with that come straight from natural thermal sulfur springs. Guanajuato International Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by car. Queretaro International Airport is two hours away.
Hotel Termas & Spa Refugio Comanjilla offers two thermal spring pools that will leave your skin and body feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. The natural sulfur in the warm 96 C water will give you a feeling of silky hair and a sweet smell on your skin. Thermal springs are believed to have therapeutic and relaxing properties for treating rheumatism and arthritis. The hotel also offers different spa treatments, a children's pool area with toys and mini slides, jogging trails, a gym, two tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, an arcade with video games, and a movie theater. The Garden Restaurant is surrounded by beautiful gardens and offers international cuisine. The Garden Bar is also on site.Amenities
