Description of Vacation Rental Property

This is your chance to rent a colorful historic victorian at the
shore (this was renovated to be an upscale B&B and became a rental 4 years ago). This
house is a rare offering with beautiful furnishings, 11 bedrooms,
9.5 baths, 5 kitchens, 8 tvs. A typical stay in the summer months
is a week. If your family is 22 or less, you can rent just the main
house as pictured (8-9br and 6.5fb). For groups larger than 22, there
is an option to rent one or more of the additional cottages on the
property. All of the units are pictured on our web site. We can
accomodate as few as 2 and as many as 30. We also rent
at a discount off season, so spend your holidays and weekends with
us A typical stay in the summer months is a week. Final prices are
determined by the number in your family. Prices peak season start
at 800 and go as high as 10300. We also rent at a discount off
season, so spend your holidays and weekends with us (off season 650-
5675). The common rooms and many of the bedrooms are quite large - the
dining room sits at least 18! Since the living and dining rooms can
open to each other and they have 12' ceilings the space is expansive
(but with a home-like comfort). The large suites are at least 23'
and have sitting areas with tv. The location is wonderful. If you
sit on one of the many porch rockers and look down the street you
can see the beach front promenade. We are also in the center of the
historic district and walking diatance to shops, resturants,
activities, movies (and of course the beach) and all of Cape May's
history and charm. We are a favorite of the house tours, so you
will see plenty of horse drawn carriages. We are a 2 block walk
from just about everything. The house is 130 years old but has undergone a major renovation in
the last three years, so there is 4 zone central air conditioning,
gas fireplaces, plenty of hot water and gleaming spaces. See
multiple pictures on our web site. Please note that the living room
is changed to a less formal comfortable atmosphere with summer
furniture, TV and DVD. We continue to renovate and upgrade in the
off season to assure the comfort of our tenants.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

The Ashley rose "main house" can sleep 16 to 30, depending on the size of your family. Please e-mail or call for a price quote as there are too many variables that affect price. Total prices are calculated by the number of renters. The spaces are very adaptable and can be rented separately depending on what works for your needs. We are happy to suggest accomodations based on "value" or "privacy." The typical rental of the "main house" has 7-8 bedrooms, 3 master suites, 5.5 baths and large entertainment rooms.

We have a main house that sleeps 22 and 2 cottages/suites. They can
be renting together or separate. the 2 cottages
accomodate up to 8 people ($2450/week). Rent the whole
property to sleep 30. If your week is reserved, please call or e-mail. We have others.

Fall-winter 2008 375-725 nightly, depends on # of days, 3 night
special for 16 people or less $1800, 22 people $2250 for the main house, cottages are extra

The house is also available for weddings, family reunions, holidays,
receptions, conferences and more. With additional cottages and
suites we can accommodate up to 30 people. The cottage and suite
(both with kitchens are available to be rented separately). In fact, we have so many reunions that we have a sign made to assure privacy for our reunion tenants!
