Loweswater apartment is situated in a tranquil Lake District village just minutes from the shores of Loweswater lake and the surrounding fells.With miles of footpaths ,walking is a delight both for hardened hikers and those who simply enjoy a lakeshore stroll. Biking is also popular , with the famous coast to coast route passing through the area many bikers enjoy the area ,there are also custom built trails through the forest at Whinlatter. Many cultural sites can be visited , from ancient Castlerigg stone circle to Wordsworth's birthplace in to Cockermouth to his family burial plot in Grasmere churchyard.
