The studio-apartments (3) are located in between the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana (Arpoador) in a small and simple apartment building with 24 hours security and 2 elevators.
Arpoador is the small, cozy and very safe area right in between the beautiful and famous beaches of Copacabana (4 minutes walking) and Ipanema (8 minutes walking). Next door to, and around the apartment you will find: an internet-café, a supermarket, laundry service and several juice-bars, restaurants and a metro station!
The studios are on the 9th and 10th floor so there is relatively little street noise.

1)The renovated standard studio 905 has a blindex shower cabin with gas-heated hot water; kitchenette with: microwave oven, 2 pits electrical cooker, sandwichmaker and a big fridge. The living/sleeping room has: 20 inch colour TV with DVD-player, 1 double bed, 1 extra single bed/or sofa, 1single sofa bed, small breakfast table with 2 chairs and a stool and 2 ceiling fans.
This studio accommodates comfortably 3 people and of course towels and sheets are provided just like tourist information..
BASIC 3 PERSON VERSION:Air conditioning available for an extra fee (R$10-20/day. Wireless internet for R$5/day
DELUXE 2 PERSON VERSION: All above included!

FOR RESERVATIONS FOR THE NEW YEARS PACKAGE (28 DEC -2 JAN) AN ADDITIONAL 30% DEPOSIT IS NEEDED. THIS CAN BE PAID WITH CREDITCARD DETAILS VIA PAYPAL OR TO A BRAZILIAN OR DUTCH BANK ACCOUNT!

2) the 2nd Deluxe studio 1007 has the same size and facilities but the only difference is that it has an electric shower, Air conditioning, cable TV and INTERNET!
Here we can set up: 1 Very big and comfortable double bed and 1 sofa bed or 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed. So it accommodates comfortably 3 people.
!!If only sleeping space is needed a 4th person can stay for a small extra fee!!

3) The 3rd apartment 906, has the biggest kitchen and cooking/eating facilities: it Is newly renovated, has blinded windows, portugese cable TV, airconditioning, adjustable llight and ventilator speed, 4 pits gasstove, microwave, electric shower, big 4 char table and a little safe. There are 2 single bedboxes which when put together will make a big and comfortable double bed. For an additional charge an extra sofabed for a 3rd person can be added.

Directions

The apartment is located on the corner of Rua Julio de Castilhos and Rua Raul Pompeia in Arpoador.

This is a 10 minutes walk from 'General Osorio' metro station.
A taxi from the 'Rodoviaria' busstation will cost you approx. 25-30 reals.
From the International GIG airport it will cost approx. 50-55 reals. Take the yellow taxis outside the terminal (on the meter!!)
Watch out for the taxi scammers who want you to pay 80 reais for a taxi outside the international airport!
If you are not used to taxi hassle get a pick-up service for 70 reais.!

You can also take the 'REAL' bus from the 'Rodoviaria' busstation(6 R$) or from the international airport GIG(9 R$).
Just tell the driver to stop at the corner(esquina) of Rua Julio de Castilhos. (just 2 blocks from the apartment walking away from the beach)
