We are located in Av. Oceanica 84 - Salvador. We are opposite the main Salvador beach, Praia da Barra, and on the city main avenue, Avenida Oceánica. Just across the avenue you are on the beach! The Hostel is located just 5 minutes walk from the Farol da Barra, major landmarks in Salvador de Bahia. We are also 2 minutes walk from Christ Morro and 15 minutes from historic downtown bus (Pelourinho).
Directions to hostel:
From the airport: You can hire a TRANSFER through the hostels reception (salvador@chelagarto.com). Another option is to take the Red Bus (Praça da Se) and get off at the next stop in front of the bar center building, after the hill of Christ. Then go back 4 blocks to the Christ on the road from the coast.
Check-In: 14.00 hs
Check-Out: 11.00 hs
* Half of the daily rate will be charged for late check out between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. After 2:00 PM a full daily rate will be charged. The hostel has luggage storage.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 2 day (48hs) cancellation policy.
Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
During special periods like Carnival, New Year and holidays:
100% of the payment is required in advance
If the booking is canceled 30 days before the check-in date, 70% of the deposit value will be refund.
If the booking is canceled between 29 and 15 days before the check-in date, 50% of the deposit value will be refund.
If the booking is canceled 15 days before the check-in date, there will be no refund.

Guests under 18 years old are not allowed without their parents or responsible adult and they must stay in a private room.
