Big pine Kayak Adventures offers easy access to the Key Deer and Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge areas of the Florida Keys. We offer custom motorboat excursions for wildlife watching, photography safaris, and fishing excursions. We can also outfit our mothership with kayaks for a truly remote paddle or you can rent or join a group kayak tour from our waterfront location at the Old Wooden Bridge Fishing Camp. We have the widest selection of kayaks in the lower keys (including models for sailing and fishing) and offer great rates for hourly or monthly rentals. Join our guides as we venture in search of Dolphin, giant Sea turtles, baby shark, sting rays, great white heron and the tiny key deer that inhabit our backcountry areas.

After getting American Canoe Assoc. paddling instruction, safety tips and learning a bit about the natural history of the area with your guided adventure on day #1 you may want to strike off on your own adventure . There are many to choose from but one favorite is circumnavigating the national Wildlife refuge island of No Name Key. We give you a detailed map and help plan your 7 mile adventure that includes mangrove creeks, key deer sightings, snorkeling on a sunken boat, a picnic at the old dock and beautiful views of the Bahia Honda bridge & the backcountry. This 4-6 hour journey will truly let you experience the solitude of the lower florida keys
