Description of Surrounding Area
Xativa is located 55 km south of Valencia, easily accessible by car or train and nestles at the foot of the Vernisa mountain range. Today's city dates mostly from the early 18th century when it was rebuilt following a fire lit on the orders of Spain's first Borbon king. The city is dominated by a mountain top castle, has a basilica and several convents, historical churches, noble palaces and is known as the city of a thousand fountains. Xativa also boasts a range of fine restaurants, a theatre and hosts two cultural festivals (in July and August) as well as celebrating the fiestas of "Fallas" in March and Corpus Christi in June. WIthin 40 minutes drive of the Mediterranean coast Xativa is also surrounded by forrested mountains, ideal for rambling.
Description of Accommodations
Our four guest rooms all have their own ensuite bathrooms. Each room has a double bed, air conditioning/heating.
Description of Rooms/Suites
Our rooms reflect the original configuration of Casa Aldomar, but they are spacious nevertheless. Our terracota floors and white walls are a reminder of our location near the shores of the Mediterranean.

Casa Aldomar is within 5 minutes walking distance of all Xativa's restaurants and bars.
Services Offered
We offer wifi internet connection and are happy to help make reservations for restuarants or theatre tickets.
Restrictions
Casa Aldomar is not suited to small children. All guest rooms are non-smoking. Guests may smoke in the patio.
Directions
Xativa may be reached by car following the A7/A35 from Madrid or from Valencia. We are also connected to both cities by train. Casa Aldomar is located in the historic quarter, and within 3 minutes walk of free parking on Xativa's main avenue, the Alameda.
