Villa Skansi is modern and newly decorated hostel located just a minute from the city beach and just few minutes walking to the center;; Hvar`s night life and famous bar Carpe Diem.

Villa is owned and managed by a young couple with foreign experience, who created this place for guests and all about guests ...to make your stay fun and memorable.
On a big SUNSET terrace, bathed in sun all day long, there is a
lounge with relaxing music.
Enjoy in a perfect atmosphere of making new friendships, just reading a book, or drinking a few cocktails and beers with your roommates.....In the evening time we organize special events: ...like Croatian BBQ or watching games on a big outside screen and then the party begins.
All dormitories are new , air conditioned and most of them are ensuite. We have sea view rooms, with a huge terrace or balconies, with teak chairs and tables ...so you can enjoy in amazing view on the islands.

From our common terrace with teak furniture and a lounge with rattan sofas,a real meeting spot, you have amazing view on Pakleni islands ( small islands around Hvar) and all the boats arriving in port of Hvar...
We rent cool retro style SCOOTERS and we will give you a few inside tips what to visit and where to have fun.Just be sure to take driving license. Also we rent BOATS .We have probably the best prices in town also.

We are looking forward meeting all travelers and accommodating you in the best possible way it can be done.


Few of our guests were Hollywood actors stars from a famous CSI NY show.....so you never know who you going to meet at our place...

We love to pick you up at the city harbor or Hvar's bus station(after 10 a.m.) and transport you to our villa, also we do transfers from Stari Grad to Hvar for supplements.
We are locals and we do know the best budget places , where to eat and where are the best clubs.....so if you are on the budget and looking for the best ...stay with us and sense the real atmosphere of this amazing island.

Directions

Coming in Hvar's harbor:
From catamaran's stop go right( south) by seaside in direction of Franciscan monastery, at beach few stairs up besides a local restaurant Dordota Vartal and up the hill 2 minutes till the road crossing. At the right side is our villa.
Coming with car from port of Stari grad to Hvar:
Coming from Stari grad to Hvar( 20km) at the first bigger road crossing(in Hvar town ) turn left, after 200 m at the right side is our villa)The best is to contact us, we love to pick you up at Hvars harbor or Hvar's bus station..

If you are coming from Dubrovnik be sure not to go to Drvenik and then to place Sucuraj in Hvars island because there are not daily buses connection with town of Hvar.Go to Split and then with catamaran or by ferry.
