Youth Hostel Zagreb is the first Zagreb hostel (since 1963).
It is located in downtown Zagreb, just a few minutes from the Main City Square (Trg bana J. Jelacica). The Hostel is situated in Petrinjska Street No. 77 - just a short walking distance from the Main train station and Main bus station.
In April 2008 Zagreb Youth Hostel has undergone a reconstruction and now offers better quality, affordable, clean and comfortable accommodation for all travelers.
Backpackers, families, groups, students, school groups, sport clubs are all welcome to Zagreb Youth Hostel.
The overnight price DOES NOT include a local tourist tax. Tourist tax per person per night is € 1,00. Children under 12 do not pay the tourist tax, children between 12 and 18 pay 50% of the tourist tax price. School groups do not have to pay the tourist tax by providing the school-trip approval.
Please note: The overnight price list refers to members of any youth hostel association. If You do not have a valid national membership card or Hostelling International card, You get a \'Welcome stamp\' for each overnight in a youth hostel. After collecting six stamps on the Hostelling International card, that You will get with the first \'Welcome stamp\', You have a valid membership card for all Hostelling International youth hostels worldwide. You can collect \'Welcome stamps\' in each HI youth hostel. The price of one welcome stamp in Croatian youth hostels is app. € 1,35.
Upon arrival You will be asked to pay for the overnight. In case of a No-show, your credit card is charged for the 1st night of your stay, the rest of that booking will be canceled.
- From the MAIN CITY SQUARE (Trg bana J. Jelacica): 600 m.
- From the MAIN TRAIN STATION (Zeljeznicki kolodvor): 300 m.
- From the MAIN BUS STATION (Autobusni kolodvor): 800 m (You can take trams No. 2 or 6 for 3 stops to the Main Train Station).
- From AIRPORT ZAGREB (Aerodrom Zagreb): 16 km (take a bus, there is just one line, to the Main Bus Station).
