El Arupo has been established on 1993 by an Ecuadorian family with the intention of offering tourists an opportunity to stay as comfortably as they would feel in their own home.
We have conserved the original interior of the house using authentic woods and ceramics giving it a warm cozy feeling. The house was built in 1960 and has remained beautiful cared for until now. The house is designated as a historical building of Quito by Municipality of Quito City.
The property is located in the heart of new town, La Mariscal, which is the best-known tourist area close to everything necessary such as restaurants, museums, bars, travel agencies and the airport. Also the property is located in a very quiet area so that you can stay comfortably and feel home comforts.
Directions
Getting to El Arupo is very easy. From the airport, the easiest way is to get a taxi.
It would cost no more than $5 and take around 30 minutes. Or you can take a bus that says 'Amazonas' on the La Prensa Street in front of the airport. You should get off the bus on Amazonas and Calama and walk just three blocks.
