Welcome to the C.C.Ly. Hostel!
C.C.Ly., pronounced like "Sicily", acronym which stands for "Cheap and Chic Lounge for Young People"
Well, we are in Catania, lively city, young and very promising, and we're the most beautiful and comfortable hostel on the Island, and among the most beautiful and comfortable in Italy. Our style is very thorough, recalling the '60s and the pop art.
We provide all the essential services and more: a double-workspace kitchen, attached dining room, breakfast room (breakfast is only 3€), living room, TV, internet point, wifi, laundry with washing machine and dryer, disabled-friendly.
Comfortable facility with nice, clean and bright rooms.
The quality/price ratio is incomparable, so are our kindness and politeness!
Our hostel is in a very strategic position: 5 min. walk from both the train and the bus station, not far from Via Etnea (main street for your shopping), old town centre reachable in a few minutes walk. The wonderful Bellini Theatre just around the corner.
Our building dates back to the 19th century and it is one of the most elegant in the city with an astonishing view on the Volcano Etna.

Washing Machine and dryer are not free, it is 2 Euro to use one of the two.

Directions

FROM CATANIA AIRPORT:

Take bus number 457 (be sure to buy your ticket first from the ticket-office.) The bus-stop is at the end of Arrivals, found at the end of the airport building on the right.


Subject of course to traffic conditions and time of day, the journey will take roughly 10 - 20 minutes, terminating at Catania Central Station.

FROM THE CENTRAL STATION:

Outside the station, you will see a large, circular fountain with statues. Crossing the road, take the road facing you when you cross, called Via Marchese di Casalotto. Walk for approximately 500 metres along Via Marchese di Casalotto until you come to a small square called Piazza G. Falcone. You will see a church with a cupola on the right, and on the left you will find the hostel. (In case of getting lost, call us for directions!)

IN CASE OF ARRIVING AT THE BUS STATION (AND NOT THE MAIN TRAIN STATION) :

Take the road called Viale Martiri della Libertà (wide street) on your left. At the point where the road intersects with Via Francesco Crispi (at this point you should already see the church), turn left. After approximately 50 metres, you will see on the RIGHT a small church with a cupola. The church is in a very small square called piazza Falcone.
The entrance to the hostel faces the church.
