Alice House

The beautiful guest rooms of Alice House were converted from an historic building. The rooms have been restored toshow the original frescoes on the walls and/or ceilings and original wood framed windows. The floors are all stone tile and the furniture is all handcrafted.It's a familiar Hotel and the guests are immersed in a comfortable
and new Florentine accommodation.

Our rooms are bright, new and with Freschi from the 800 century, both rooms have private bathroom, tv, air conditioning, and hairdryer.

The location is just near the San Lorenzo market, bustling with small trattorias that serve Florentine specialties to standing customers at the bar during lunchtime with a glass a inexpensive red wine. It's only a few minutes walk from the main train station, Santa Maria Novella, and just around the corner from the Duomo and the Uffizi.

Located near:
A 2 minute walk takes you to the historic trading centre of San Lorenzo, 3 minutes take you to the David of Michelangelo and another 2 take you to the 'florence trademark', the Duomo cathedral. Another 3 minutes and you arrive to the Uffizi Gallery and on the romantic Ponte Vecchio.

From train station 'Santa Maria Novella'.

If you arrive by train to Santa Maria Novella, you take the immediate
left
exit(where the pharmacy is located). Cross the street towards McDonalds,
and make a right on the street were the it is located walking a distance of around 20 meters, turn left and go straight on Via Largo Alinari. Finally, make a the first right on the street called via Faenza, walk for 50 meters turn the first on your right and after 20 meters first left, now you are in via dell'Amorino, we are at number 12.

From the airport:

If you arrive by airplane, A shuttle bus marked 'navetta' to the train
station, Santa Maria Novella' leaves every 20 minutes.
