Our reception is opened 24/7 and our administrators are probably the most joyfull administrators you will know. With a smile on their face they will help you to find information you need, print out maps, get information about events, tell where is the best place to eat, where to find the wildest parties or some quiet and romantic place for two.
Ala Hostel is three minutes from the bus stop, which leads from the airport, five minutes to the bus station and central station, and when you are checked in, just open the Ala Hostel doors, to be situated in the charming old town.

Our Bar - Club L.A. - Good lounge music, sober and frantic party, quiet conversation or karaoke nights. Sports on the big screen or live music. Club L.A.- lounge type of resting and a place for different tastes:

• Mondays, chill out, jazz music,

• Tuesdays - karaoke nights,

• Wednesdays, live music concerts in little-known but talented artists performed,

• Thursday evening in the club L.A. fun parties are held in the basement is being played Mafia and well known artists are performing!

• Friday and Saturday Hip-Hop remix party, followed by an After party house music, accompanied by up to 12:00 on the day.

• Sunday rest, watching movies at night chill out atmosphere.

Directions

Arriving by car
Arriving from the northeast -
Take Brivibas Street to the city centre. Turn left before the Freedom Monument on Raina Bulvaris. After 300 meters turn right on Kr.Barona Street. After 200 meters you will be at the beginning of Audeju Street where ALA HOSTEL is located
Arriving from the west -
Take Kr. Valdemara Street over "Vansu Tilts" (cable bridge). Take the second right, which is Basteja Bulvaris. Go straight ahead along the tram line to the first traffic light. Audeju Street is on your right side.

By bus
- Leave the bus station through the main building and walk to the left at the tram line. Use the underground cross-path to cross 11.Novembra Krastmala and keep walking straight after it. Go straight until you see the shopping center "Galerija Centrs" Then, turn left in the first street (Audeju) and walk till number 11, the pink house, Ala sign.


By train
- When you´ll be outside of the main building, you have to cross the main road in front of you by the underpass situated 400m away from the station. So, keep walking leaving the station on your left, then you will arrive to the Stockmann center and after it you will find the underpass. Cross the underpass till the other side and keep walking straight. Then, turn left in the first street (Audeju) and walk till number 11, the pink house, Ala sign.

By airplane
-From Riga International Airport follow signs to "Riga", then towards "City Centrs".Pass the tall 26-story building (Swedbank) on the right side.Cross Vanšu tilts (cable bridge). Take the second right, which is Basteja Bulvaris.Go straight ahead along the tram line to the first traffic light. Audeju Street will be on your right side
-Take bus no. 22 (not 22a), pay 0.70 centims and get off at the Stockman shopping center. From the bus stop, cross main road by the underpass situated some meters before. Cross the underpass till the other side and keep walking straight. Then, turn left in the first street and walk till number 11, the pink house, Ala sign.

By Ferry
Riga Harbour with ferry terminal is only 5 minutes away by taxi (15 minutes walk by foot) from our hotel. From Riga Harbour, merge right to 11 Novembra Krastmala. You will see a historical monument on your left. After the monument, turn left onto Grecienieku Street. Go straight. Grecienieku eventually becomes Audeju Street, and Ala Hostel is located on the right hand side.
