Welcome to youth hostel Remerschen (Schengen)

The spacious rooms of the youth hostel opened in 2007 are located in a renovated convent and a new constructed extension. It is situated at the heart of the village of Remerschen, close to a bathing pond, the Moselle river and a nature reserve and is provided with:

- 3 conference rooms
- family rooms with terrace
- restaurant with cafeteria
- common rooms
- garden with pond
- youth centre

150 beds are divided in rooms from 2 to 6 beds, all equipped with sanitary facilities. Cosy dormitories at the attic are suitable for scouts or nursery schools.

Our team will do its best to satisfy the guests and offers full board (lunch, dinner, packed lunch). Luxembourgish specialities and vegetarian meals are available on request.

The hostel is also suitable for disabled guests. There is no age limit and it is open the whole year through.

Check in: 05.00 - 10.00 p.m. / check out before 10.00 a.m.

You will be contacted by the hostel to provide your CVV code. Hostelworld cannot provide this to the hostel and it is required in Luxembourg to confirm your booking. Failure to provide this may result in your booking being cancelled

Cancellation conditions:

In case of a cancellation more than 28 days before the arrival date, no fee will be charged. In case of a cancellation less than 28 days before the arrival date, a charge equivalent to 15 % of the booking value will be incurred. In case of a cancellation less than 24 hours before the arrival date or in case of no-show, the total booking value will be incurred (max. 2 overnights).

Directions

The commune of Schengen is located near the point where the borders of Germany, France and Luxembourg come together and can be reached by public transport from Luxembourg-City (35 km).

By car: motorway (A13/A8) Luxembourg - Saarbruecken, exit Schengen. A bicycle shelter and parking facilities are close to the hostel.
