Nottingham Country House combines warm hospitality, charm and sophisticated comfort for leisure travellers.

An original country house built in 1910, it has gleaming wooden floors, high ceilings and stained glass doors, reflections of a gracious era.

The proud owners, Gavin & Melodeen, have created a refined haven of comfort, where guests are assured of outstanding hospitality and exceptional personal service.

It is ideally located in the beautiful garden suburb of Walmer, which is centrally situated close to the airport, less than five minutes to our popular beaches and within walking distance to fabulous restaurants and pubs. A large shopping centre with a large variety of shops, restaurants, cinemas and other entertainment, is also only six minutes drive away.

We have five en-suite bedrooms and two family units, have an ambience of tranquillity and style, with private patio's overlooking a lush tropical garden and pool.

Please note that triple rooms have a double and a single bed.

Each unit has its own private entrance, en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, TV with M-Net, heaters, fans & hairdryers, all designed to ensure ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Guest can also relax in a lovely "Out of Africa" guest lounge and sip a complimentary sherry next to the fireplace, perfect for cold winter nights.

Dining:
English or Continental breakfasts are served in the relaxed setting of a large dining room, which offers a view of the tropical garden & pool.

Home-cooked evening meals are available by prior arrangement. An indoor and outdoor braai facility, as well as a fully equipped kitchen is available for those who prefer the self-catering option.

Nottingham has been graded by The Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) as a 3-Star establishment in the Guesthouse category!

Directions

Fly into Cape Town (direct flights from Amsterdam and London - direct). Then fly on to Port Elizabeth airport with a national flight.

The journey by car from Cape Town would take 7 hours.

Nottingham is situated close to the airport (1km) as well as the bus stations (3km - 5kms).
