Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof is your perfect base if you are looking for the comfort and convenience of a centrally located hostel that provides just that little extra.
With accommodation ranging from dorms to double rooms both with shared showers/toilets or ensuite facilities it offers everything to make your stay really enjoyable.

Top accommodation with friendly and clean rooms (with 2 to 7 beds ensuite or shared) and a large garden to chill out. Cook and chat in our self-catering kitchen and stay in touch via free WiFi in the whole building or internet stations in the lounge.
Your clothes can get a nice wash in the laundromats, while you enjoy the meditation or music room or one of the free movies from reception to recover from your excitements of the day.

There is no lockout or curfew.

Our locals at reception are happy to provide you with information and free maps for hiking and loads of things to do.

We are your ticket office for adventure activities (rafting, canyoning, paragliding, hanggliding, skydiving, bungy jumping, ...)
During winter season from Dec-April we offer ski packages.

Rates include 'all you can eat' continental breakfast, linen, a comfortable duvet & towel, personal lockers, free entry to public swimming pools and minigolf, minigolf, free parking facilities and all taxes (VAT & local taxes), 100% climate neutral (myclimate.org).

CHILDREN: We don't accept children under 15 in shared dorm rooms. Please book a private room for your family.
Babies up to 24 months are free (without a bed). For older children (2 yrs. +) please book a bed (we offer a 20% discount up to the age of 15).

Directions

CHECK-IN HOURS: Our reception is open for check-in from 16:00-23:00 (4-11 pm). IF YOU ARRIVE LATER THAN 23:00 (11 PM) YOU WILL GET THE KEYS OUT OF OUR BLUE KEYBOX AT THE NIGHT ENTRANCE. JUST ENTER THE LAST 5 DIGITS OF YOUR 'BOOKING #' AND YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY GET YOUR KEYS. On entering the building you'll find all linen on the shelf together with some information on our hostel.

Backpackers Villa is in walking distance from Interlaken Ost train station (about 10-15 minutes) in the centre of Interlaken at the corner Alpenstrasse/Parkstrasse. Or take bus no. 2 to stop 'Sonnenhof'.
