Homestay & mini guesthouse Manida is situated in heart of Isaan, Thailands agricultural North East, 20 km South of Khon Kaen city.
You live amongs the local people, mostly rice farmers, but stay in a comfortable room in a hybrid Thai/modern village house. The atmosphere in the village is very relaxed and friendly. It is a fantastic place to observe life of ordinary Thai people in their daily life.
There is a programme for you if you wish: going to the field with a Thai family to plant rice or going on excursions, with or without an English speaking guide.
Upstairs is made of 100% teakwood and there are two bedrooms, one with airco, the other one with fan. You also can use the cozy living room upstairs.
In the garden is the \'waterfall house\' a delightful place where you can relax and eat. And if you wish you can even take Thai cooking lessons and learn how to make a green curry or hot and spicy soup!

Coming from Khon Kaen take highway number 2 south in the direction of Nakhon Ratchasima. After 10 kilometers you get to the junction Tha Phra where you turn left direction Kosum Phisai / Mahasakaram (highway 208).
On highway 208 you pass after 2 km the Khon Kaen brewery on your right and after another 3 km the village Ban Sa Wang. After almost 10 km on highway 208 you see the sign 'Homestay Manida' and take the road going to the left. After 2 km you are in the village. After the sportfield of the school on your left, take the first turn left and after 50 meters again left. Follow the road and after 100 meters you will find Manida's Homestay & Guesthouse.
