Surrounding Area

On the beach there is swimming, fishing, boating , clamming. You can walk to two seafood restaurants, a pizza restaurant and a laundry. Weekends at the restaurants there is entertainment and large crowds having great fun.

Nearby you can take the Thimble Island tour boat, visit the museums and galleries of New Haven, explore the charming town centers of Branford, Guilford and Madison. Branford boasts many wonderful restaurants. The outlet malls are nearby as well.

Vacation Rental Property

The cottage is clean and comfortable. Everything you might need for cooking is in the kitchen. The bedroom is air conditioned. Living room has a ceiling fan. Cable tv, dvd,cd players and wireless internet are provided, as well as board games, books, a quiet patio in the back garden with a picnic table and lounge chairs. Two beach chairs and an umbrella will make the beach sitting grand.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

The cottage is ideal for two people. The bedroom with it's adjoining bath has a full size bed with a trundle beneath for storing clothes. There is a futon in the living room, however for guests or extra family members. Since the bath is behind the bedroom, it becomes inconvenient for two unrelated couples.

Amenities

There is a flat screen tv, boom box, telephone for local calls, gas fire for cool autumn evenings. dvd and cd player, ,books, and games are provided and since the owners are in site, we can provide the odd thing you might need.

Services Offered

This is a "housekeeping" cottage which means that you supply your own bed linens and towels, (we can provide for additional cost) and you leave the cottage clean and ready for the next tenants. Should we have to call a cleaning service after you leave, it will be deducted from the security deposit.

Policies & Restrictions

This is a no smoking, no pets accommodation. Before renovations, when we accepted pets, we lost several rentals due to people with allergies, se we strictly adhere to the no pet policy.

Rates & Availability

Rates are by the week: $760 to $860, Saturday to Saturday.

Directions

I95 North to Exit 54. Go south on Cedar Street into the center of Branford. At the end of Ceday Street, turn left and take the right fork a few hundred feet ahead onto RT 146. Follow Rt 146 to Indian Neck. Stay on 146 ( left side of liquor store) and turn east on Limewood Avenue. In .3 mile, turn left into the driveway and find the cottage in back. (It is the second driveway past the Edgewater Condominiums.)
