The zip line challenge course at WIRED is suitable for ages ten and up. Participants must weigh a minimum of 80 pounds and have the ability to climb stairs and ladders. The course consists of four long zip lines and two rope sky bridges. Participants will be outfitted with harnesses, helmets, and gloves then taken through a ground school to learn proper techniques of zip lining. This outdoor activity takes approximately 1 1/2 hours to complete. Trained and certified guides accompany each group of participants through the course. The guides are responsible for clipping each person to the lines as well as doing all transfers.
no smoking while out on the course
Closed toe shoes must be worn on the course and this activity is not recommended for anyone who is not in general good health.

I went with a very large group which turned out to be a bit cumbersome. We waited much longer to zip than we actually spent zipping, but the facility is very professionally run. Its a family owned business and everyone is very personable, highly skilled, instructive and safety conscious. Reserve a time with 10 or less people and I think you'll all have a blast. My son and DIL surprised me with an afternoon at this zipline course in Canton, TX. The guides immediately put me at ease and I ended up having a ball. There was a ground school which put me at ease with the equipment and the feel of "zipping" and I just can't say enough good things about the staff who put any qualms I had to rest.
