Pension Sonnleitn is a lovely family owned chalet just minutes from one of Austria's top ten ski resorts Nassfeld Ski Arena - also a popular summer resort.

This property is located in Jenig, at 10 km from Hermagor-Pressegger See


Run as a bed and breakfast in the summer, Pension Sonnleitn offers guests a warm, informal atmosphere and a friendly welcome from its owners Craig and Katharine.

Guests can take advantage of the property's fantastic facilities which include a free sauna, games room with dvd ,PS2, table tennis and table football.

The chalet is just minutes from the main gondola station which is accessed within minutes via a free shuttle bus that stops just 200m from the front door.

All rooms are spacious yet cosy, with charming traditional Austrian furniture, en-suite facilities, satellite tv and most having fantastic views of the Carnic Alps that border with Italy.

By Air
There are lots of airports that can be used, of which Klagenfurt is the closest - an hour from Pension Sonnleitn.
Trieste, Ljubljana, Venice, Salzburg or Graz are also within easy reach

Car Hire
There are various car hire companies in every airport. We have found that
www.auto-europe.co.uk offers the best price. This is by far the best way to get around in Austria as there is so many things to see and do that are spread around the region.

By Road
From Klagenfurt airport get onto the A2 autobahn and head in the direction of Villach. Take the exit for Hermagor (B111). Staying on the B111, drive through Hermagor, towards Nassfeld (Troepolach). After about 9kms you will arrive in the village of Jenig. After the village sign post, take the second exit on the right. We are 30m down the driveway.

By Rail
It is possible to catch a train to Jenig. The main transport hub of Carinthia is Villach from where there is a regular daily service. We are only 200 meters from the train station in Jenig. For train information visit www.oebb.at
