Emerald Hostel Budapest

We opened our Hostel with enthusiasm in October 2008. Our goal was to establish an accomodation in the downtown of Budapest, where you get the maximum for your money quality, fun, you will be more than satisfied while staying with us.

Being in between the two main metro lines, the closeness of the famous Váci street, the River Danube, the Buda side, the Deak square and the covered Market Hall make the location of the Hostel unbeatable.

We recommend ourself to those guests, who wish to stay in a real backpacker hostel, surrounded by the main attractions of Budapest, be in the neighbourhood of restaurants, cafes and party places.

ROOMS:

Single room: Spacy room with one bed, ideal for those who travel alone.

Double room: Newly furnished double room, ideal for couples. This comfortable, huge room has a wonderful wiew to the city.

3-bed room: Private room for 3 people. Our 3-bed room has one spare bed, and one double bed. The room has a very nice view to the city. TV set and internet access is in the room. Ideal for those who would like to be alone.

6-bed room: Our biggest room is excellent for those, who are not bothered by talk. This room has a huge, own balkony, where you can enjoy the sunshine and can have a rest after your tiring day. There is also place for you to chat and play in the room.

4-bed room: Huge room with relaxed atmosphere. This rooms is ideal for smaller groups as well.

We also have:
A common room and shared kitchen.

Use the internet, watch TV, listen to music or just sit and relax with other guest in our inviting, cosy common room. We also provide games, such as cards or chess to have fun and create social atmosphere inside the accomodation.


Our kitchen has brand new furniture, providing all the neccessary tools to those guests who like cooking.




Bathrooms:

We have two bathrooms, both of them are shared. We provide towels, if you need.

Early and late check-in is possible, but please inform us in advance! Check out time is until 10 a.m., check in is from 2 p.m.

Please note that we might not keep you reservation if you are late for more than 3 hours without informing us about the delay !

To reach us from Ferihegy Airport:

- Take the airport bus (200) to the last stop (Kobanya-Kispest) and take the blue metro to Ferenciek tere.
- From Ferenciek tere, at the top of the escalator, walk 5 metres and take the left exit. Walk up the street to reach the house numbered 13. Push the bell 10.

Inform us in advance and we send a car to pick you up at the airport directly. (19 eruro/car, one car is enough for 4 guests)


From the train stations Keleti and Deli:

- Go underground and catch the red metro line to Astoria. Take the escalator upstairs and walk to the far left exit.
- Walk straight ahead 70 meters until you reach the house, number 13. Push the bell 10.

From the bus station Nepliget and the train station Nyugati:

- Go underground and catch the blue metro line to Ferenciek tere. From Ferenciek tere, at the top of the escalator, walk 5 metres and take left exit. Walk up the street to reach the house numbered 13. Push the bell 10.
