The Gecko II Hotel is located at 11A Trung Yen Street in the heart of the Old Quarter. It is a short 5 min stroll to the famous Hoan Kiem Lake.

Also within easy walking distance you will find street-food, cafes and restaurants to suit every budget and every taste. And if want to shop-till-you-drop the streets of Hang Bong, Hang Bai Hang Trong will test your stamina and the amount of choice on offer.


LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Within a 10 minute taxi ride of the Hotel the following attractions are recommended:

- Temple of Literature - History Museum
- Opera House - Lenin Park
- One pillar Pagoda - Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

Take a leisurely stroll around the French Quarter - a wonderful contrast to the Old Quarter with tree-lined open boulevards and french architecture. The Sofitel and Hanoi Hilton Hotels are fine examples.

The Hotel has 18 rooms located on 6 floors and serviced by an elevator. Rooms re classified as Superior, Deluxe and Luxury. A great feature of the Hotel is that there is no additional charge for breakfast.

Each room is spacious with good-sized bathroom and we pride ourselves on the comfort of each rooms bed nd pillows. Wireless internet is available in each room and is complimentary.

I the reception area there are 3 computers with internet access and again this facility is available for the use of our guests free of charge.

Unfortunately Hanoi Airport has a number of scam taxi operators all too eager to do the wrong thing and take you to the wrong place.

Our Agent will be waiting for you immediately after clearing Customs with a sign stating your name and the name of the Gecko Hotel written upon it. We then transport you directly to the front door of the Gecko Hotel - no hassels and no translation problems. Our prices are very competitive with those charged by the Airport Taxi provider but we provide the extra services for you to make your airport transfer worry-free.
