The Punta Leona Hotel and Club located just 90 minutes from San Jose is 39 miles away from the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). The hotel is surrounded by tropical Costa Rican rainforest. One can take a walk along the pristine white sand and gold sand beaches, while looking out into the deep blue waters of the Pacific, and nearby golfer's championship course.The hotel offers canopy tour within the Resort, the Columbus conference room with capacity for 250 people, audio-visual equipment like Wi-Fi wireless Internet access, national/International telephone lines, audio/video equipments, air-conditioning, different setting options, and wedding/honeymoon services. It also offers three pools, mini market, souvenir shop, discotheque (limited hours during the low season), lighted tennis court, volleyball court, basketball court, children's play area, amphitheater, in-house shuttle transportation, car rental (pick up and drop off at resort), 24-hour telephone, foreign currency exchange/reception services, and photo development - one day service.The room amenities include hot water, air-conditioning, cable TV, telephones, mini-refrigerators, safety boxes, and more. Some rooms also offer microwaves, dishwashers, and complete kitchens.
