Master Room

A great location to be in while in the city. We are nestled in the Escazu Mountains on a beautiful Property overlooking the Central Valley. With an amazing view of Volcanoes Irazu, Barva and Poas, Out of Bounds is the ideal location for your stay in San Jose. Upon arrival to Out Of Bounds we will provide you with a hot cup of gourmet Costa Rican coffee or a nice refreshing Fruit Drink. We will then show you to your room, where you can relax and take in the view.

Only 20 minutes from the Juan Santamaria International airport and 10 minutes from the Tobias Bolaños Airport in Pavas, we are conveniently located on the Old Road to Santa Ana in the suburb of San Rafael Escazu. We are in walking distance to the International shopping mall Multiplaza and Plaza Roble Business Center in close proximity of Cima Hospital. If you’re here for Business we are just 5 minutes from FORUM and 7 minutes from Office Centro. Directly in front of the property is a public bus stop. ANd Taxi's are right outside on the main road. If your coming for Dental work we have the best clinic a few doors down from us. We offer great packages for a third of the cost. Contact us for more details.

Your FREE daily breakfast will include either a Typical Costa Rican breakfast. “gallo pinto” eggs, toast, coffee and juice. Or an American style breakfast with eggs, toast, hash browns, bacon, coffee and juice. Or choose the continental breakfast with Cereal, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. Let us know if you are here for Dental work so we can provide you with the special menu that we offer.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the Terrace.

Here at Out of Bounds we try and make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a community microwave, plates and utensils, iron and board, hairdryer, phone, and sitting area for your convience. You are also welcome to use the BBQ grill and fire pit. Laundry service, DVD and Cell phone rentals available for a fee.

Out of Bounds now offers a Fully Furnished Vacation rental. A beautiful and spacious house that sleeps 10 with amazing views located right behind the Hotel. It has 4 bedrooms, which can be separately rented.

Quadruple Room

Our Superior Room is located on the first floor, it has 2 comfy Simmons Double beds, it offers a kitchenette with all the basic appliances perfect for travelers with families or those who want to stay longer and need the amenities of a small efficiency or small studio.

Our Deluxe Room has a vaulted ceiling and is located on the second floor. This room Sleeps 5 comfortably, it has two double beds and a sofa bed.

Our Junior Room is located on the first floor. This open room sleeps 2 with a comfortable Queen Size bed. Handicap accessible.

Our Standard Rooms sleeps 2 comfortably with a King size bed or 2 Twin beds. One of the rooms has vaulted ceiling and is located on the second floor and the other room is located on the main level

MASTER ROOM
This Family Suite has a Master Room with King bed, TV, 2 closets, massive bathroom with shower and Roman Tub. Attached is the kids room that has 3 Individual beds or can be arranged to be 1 king bed and 1 individual bed. Perfect for couples traveling with children. There are 2 private doors from bedrooms, one goes out the BBQ/patio area and the other one goes out to the back yard.

TRIPLE ROOM
This room is located by the fountain and sleeps 3 people in comfortable Queen and Individual beds. It has TV, fan, closet, safe, private bathroom and private door out to the BBQ/patio area.

DOUBLE ROOM
This room is located by the fountain as well and has 1 Queen bed, TV, fan, closet, safe and private bathroom.

Int the Fully Furnished Vacation Rental we do allow dogs that are well behaved and do not bark. Extra fee $10 charged

Out of Bounds Tourist Center has been around since 2004. The Hotel came later with a grand opening on Feb 14, 2007 that was full of excitement & joy as we celebrated the beginning of this wonderful journey.

We made sure to put extra touches into the construction, and also overall layout and appearance. In the end we were thrilled with the results! Each room is tastefully decorated with local artisan work, hardwood floors and comfortable bedding for maximum enjoyment while staying here at Out Of Bounds.
