This trail ride is for everybody- new riders with no experience to those who have spent lots of time "in the saddle." We provide both Western and English saddles depending on your experience. The trail ride itself takes a little over an hour and Nancy, your guide has many years experience in the saddle.

SUMMER RIDING CAMP 2010
Currently in our tenth year, The Hidden Lark equestrian program combines qualified staff, experienced horses, and excellent facilities to create an atmosphere where campers can advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge, and enjoy riding with friends.
Our horse camp features horses ranging from experienced A circuit show horses, to seasoned beginner ponies. All of our horses are active in equestrian programs throughout the year.
Our equestrian staff is qualified to teach a wide range of riders. Young beginners play mounted games and get to learn all about their favorite horses, while they master how to post the trot, canter or jump. More advanced riders may get to jump both inside and outside of the ring. On the last day of camp we have a horse show to display skills learned during the week- all campers will receive ribbons!
If camp dates don’t work for your summer plans, we also offer group and private lessons, trail rides as well as an extended 2 ½ hour lesson which will expose your child to horse care, riding, trail rides and farm care in the same session.
