Nambucca Backpackers

We are located on the Pacific Highway, 200m north of McDonalds and next door to a full shopping centre that has take-away food and a movie cinema. Also, we are conveniently located only 200m from the Interstate/local bus stop, the Tourist Information Centre and the scenic boardwalk that ends at the beaches and V-Wall. A large range of cabins are available equipped with double bed and single beds/bunks. They vary from economy cabins with shared bathroom facilities to air-conditioned en-suite cabins. All cabins are equipped with colour TV, fridge, microwave, cook-top, kettle/toaster, crockery and cutlery and heating/cooling. Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels are supplied as part of the cost. Free bicycles are available for guest use only. An undercover area with free BBQ is available for guest use. There is a wide variety of water activities to enjoy in the area including kayaking, fishing and surfing.

Directions

The bus stops outside the Tourist Information Centre. Follow the concrete footpath to a small wooden bridge, then turn right into a pedestrian underpass and follow the footpath to our driveway. If driving from the North, look for the second turn off into Nambucca Heads, drive onward for another 400m and turn right at Nambucca Shopping Plaza, where you will need to turn around and then turn left back out onto the highway.
