BY LAUNCH:

HAMILTON ISLAND: Cruise Whitsundays operate regular services from Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island) to Long Island Resort.

SHUTE HARBOUR or ABEL POINT: Cruise Whitsundays operate regular services from either of these Whitsunday Mainland Marinas. To Book your ferry transfers emial reservations on the address provided on your conformation email . Make life easy, charge your launch transfers to your room account and pay direct to the resort.

BY AIR:

The Whitsunday's are serviced by two domestic airports, Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island) and Whitsunday Coast Airport on the mainland (Proserpine). Flying time is approximately 1.5 hours north of Brisbane, 2 hours north of Sydney, 3 hours from Melbourne and 1 hour from Cairns to Hamilton. Direct services operate from Cairns, Brisbane Sydney and Melbourne, with domestic and international connections via Brisbane, Sydney and Cairns airports. For airline schedules, contact your travel agent, Virgin Blue, Jetstar or Qantas.

From the Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island), Cruise Whitsundays meets flights for a comfortable catamaran cruise to Long Island approx 30 min.

From Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine), Whitsunday Shuttle Coaches meet all flights for a 30 minute transfer to Abel Point Marina or Shute Harbour where Cruise Whitsundays provide a regular transfer to Long Island Resort.

BY ROAD:

The Whitsundays can be accessed by the Bruce Highway which covers the East coast of Queensland from Cairns to Brisbane. Dependant on conditions, driving time from Brisbane is approximately 12 hours north to Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour and 8 hours south from Cairns. Regular coach services also operate into Airlie Beach. Secure car parking is available at Shute Harbour and is located within walking distance of the launch departure.
BY RAIL: Regular daily rail services depart from Brisbane, heading north and from Cairns and Townsville heading south. A Whitsunday Shuttle Coach service is available from Proserpine Rail Station with launch connection from Abel Point or Shute Harbour to Long Island Resort.
