Buzios Beach


Buzios is the coolest place for backpackers who love the beach and beach towns. Its kind of like Key West, Saint Tropez or Ibiza, a great place to go for nightlife. There are tons of bars, clubs, and restaurants that stay open well into the early morning hours. With a pleasant average temperature and NO RAIN! It is a must venue and its closeness to Rio make Buzios the ideal place to relax after visiting Brazil's famous, chaotic and busy metropolis. If you miss this place, that's OK. Our hostel is located walking distance to Geriba beach, one of Brazil's most famous surf beach and close to the nightlife also the perfect location!

From Rio: Take a 1001 bus from Rodoviaria in Rio direct to Búzios. Try to carry your bag on bus .After approximately 2.5 - 3hrs Be alert ,you will pass by the main tourist office with flags from every country along both sides of the road, this is the entry to Búzios (portal de buzios). We are located 2km after the tourist office on Rua Gravatas, Geribá. Ask the bus driver to stop at shopping 5000 para Geriba Beach (pronounced 'shopping sinco meal'). When you get off, take the road towards the beach (rua dos gravatas), we are located 40m down on your left. Ring the bell at the gate.

note: If you miss getting off at shopping cinco mil and you stay at the bus till its final destination you will be attacked by sharks trying to sell you unscrupoulous surprises so just walk across the street and take one of the small VW buses back towards our directions and just say shopping cinco mil ( pronounced chopping sinco meal )
