The location is ideal, just minutes from the bus station and hot springs and steps away from la Basilica (the main church), Bars, restaurants etc.

There are 15 rooms in total, spread across four floors sleeping from one to five people. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with private bathrooms, 24-hour hot water and cable tv in each. The cost is $7.50 per person.

Hamakom Lihiot restaurant provides a wonderful selection of breakfasts included in the overnight price, as well as delicious international fare at lunch and dinner. Specialties include falafel, hummus, and shakshuka.

Directions

From the bus station: take the first right onto Calle Maldonado. After half a block, take a left onto Calle Espejo. Walk three blocks then turn right onto Calle 16 de Diciembre. You'll find Hostal Transilvania a few doors down on the left. It is a five-minute walk from the bus station and a block away from la Basilica.
