The white sandy beach stretches rights in front of the resort villas. The sea in Bintan is clear and calm most of the year. Only during the monsoon season from November to beginning of January the weather may be windier and the sea more rough.

Besides spending your Bintan vacation at the beach or hotel, the island offers more things to do and let\'s you discover a glimpse of Indonesia.

Popular Bintan tours from the hotel include Trikora beach with fisherman villages and kelongs, the city of Tanjung Pinang, Gunung Bintan or any of the spa package tours with visit to the nearby day spa.

HOTEL

The hotel consists of a number o seaview and gardenview bungalows. Each bungalow consists of two separate double or triple rooms with ensuite bath room.

Traditional design and local materials such as wood, bamboo and grass roofs create a tropical ambiance and offer natural cooling. The roof of each villa is uniquely modeled after a traditional Indonesian house (rumah adat) from the different Indonesian regions.

RESTAURANT

The outdoor restaurant at Putri Pandan Resort serves both international and popular Indonesian dishes at affordable prices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available a-la-carte. We also cater to special requests such as vegetarian food.


ACTIVITIES

Bintan Island has some of South East Asia\'s best beaches and is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Indonesia and within easy reach from Singapore.

The clear shallow waters make the resort\'s beach ideal for families with children. The white sandy beach stretches directly in front to the resort. During low-tide you can also walk all the way to Sumpat Island right in front of the resort.

The resort offers a number of sports activities such as beach volley ball, soccer or badminton. Golf packages at Bintan Lagoon Golf course can be arranged.

Motorbike rental is also available at the resort (from 50,000 RP per hour).

VISA

From 1 July 2011 a 7-day visa-on-arrival for 10 USD is available again for individual travellers.
Cost for a single 30-day visa-on-arrival is 25 USD / per person. Visa-on-arrival can be obtained from the immigration in Bintan directly.

Directions

From Singapore - Accessible via high-speed catamarans from Singapore's Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT). The journey takes 55 minutes. Land transfer from local pier to hotel will provided.
