Hidden Valley Holiday Park

Hidden Valley Holiday Park is located in Rathdrum, Co Wicklow. We are located alongside the Avonmore River and on the edge of the Wicklow Mountains.

Camping - we have a brand new amenity block on site offering toilets, sinks, showers, laundry room and campers kitchen; all with hot and cold water. Our camping field offers pitches under the canopy of our own forest or near the rivers edge. Campfires are allowed next to the river.

Hostel - our hostel accommodation is provided in our log cabins. There are two rooms per cabin. Each room shares the communal bathroom, self-catering kitchen and living room with TV. DVD's are available from reception.

On site we have a river and lake that provides swimming, fishing, kayaking and rowing boats. There are many nature walks in the area and from the campsite. We offer both bicycle hire and kayak hire. We have two new tours from the park - kayaking down the Avonmore River and mountain biking down the Sally Gap with a day in Glendalough. Wi-fi is also available.

Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. We have a small shop on site with snacks, beverages, homemade ice cream and pizza.

The train and bus both stop within 10 minutes of the campsite offering transportation to Dublin and Wexford.

The park is only a 10-minute walk into Rathdrum town, which offers pubs, restaurants and shops.

There are numerous attractions in the area including Glendalough, Avondale House, Mount Usher Gardens, Glenmalure, Greenan Farm Museum & Maze, Brittas Bay Beach and more.

Directions

The bus stop is at the end of our laneway. Walk down the laneway in front of the apartments to the park.

From the train station, walk up the hill to the main street. From here turn right and walk down the hill. At the bottom of the hill you will see a large apt complex across the street next to the river. Cross the street and walk down this laneway in front of the apartments. The road leads you into the campsite. (10-minute walk)
