Deepened in the breathtaking Tuscan countryside, the holiday home Oasi del Grillo, an old granary restored with care and style, is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday which will allow you to enjoy the Tuscan cooking, wine and landcape.

IMPORTANT: The property is located at 20km from Siena (Colonna del Grillo). We recommend renting a car to be more comfortable to reach us and to enjoy the Tuscan countryside.


The building is located just few miles from the famous hydrothermal baths of Rapolano Terme which we have a special agreement with, whereby our clients have 10% discount on all available treatments as well as discounted entry fee. Tickets can be purchased directly at our reception. L\'Oasi del Grillo is also very close to many picturesque medieval villages in the heart of Chianti Hills, among wine yards and centenary olive trees like Montalcino, San Gimignano, Pienza and Siena.

The holiday home comprises of 12 old-style furnished apartments which can host from 2 to 6 guests all equipped with fully furnished kitchen, heating, air conditioning, TV, internet connection, private bathroom, hairdryer, telephone and safe.

Next to building there is our popular restaurant \'Il Bivacco\' where you can taste, besides the typical Tuscan cuisine, our delicious pizza and charcoal grilled meat.

By Car:
From Milano: Motorway A1 towards Roma; take the exit Firenze Certosa; then the 4 lane express way Firenze-Siena towards Siena; pass all the Siena exits and follow the Arezzo-Perugia signs. After the second tunnel procede still towards Arezzo-Perugia. After about 15km take the exit Colonna del Grillo; at the cross road turn right towards Bucine, the holiday home Oasi del Grillo is 300 metres on your left.
From Rome: Motorway A1 towards Firenze; take the exit Val di Chiana turn right and take the 4 line express way Siena-Bettolle towards Siena; after about 35km take the exit Colonna del Grillo; at the cross road turn right towards Bucine,the holiday home Oasi del Grillo is 300 metres on your left.
From Genova: Motorway A12 towards; at the exit Viareggio-Camaiore take the A11 in towards Lucca-Firenze; once in the Florence area take the A1 towards Roma; after about 15km take Firenze Certosa exit; then the 4 lane express way Firenze-Siena towards Siena; pass all the Siena exits and follow the Arezzo-Perugia signs.
