The Fisherman's Guest House

We are centrally located in Khuzir village between the Siberian taiga forest and lake Baikal. The location is quite and cosy. You are only steps away from the beautiful, white, sandy beaches of Baikal, and just a leisurely stroll from local shops and internet cafe.

Our private double rooms and dinnning halls perfectly suite a company, family or a couple looking for quite, individual and relaxing vacation at Baikal. Personal cooker will serve home made food at your time. When the weather is good, local delicasies from the lake are brought every time the fisherman returns from fishing with his family.

The guesthouse area consists of 2 main buildings, 2 dining halls, banya/steam bath, outside toilets, garden, cow-house, hen-coop and a parking place. One and Two-storey wooden buildings have 7 twin rooms and one single separate room. A separate wooden hut with wood burning stove has 3 double rooms and a dinning room with fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, TV, DVD, running water. The whole facility can be rented individualy by a company or a family. Single or double occupancy.

Price: 600 rubles pp per night. Breakfast is included.

- Daily summer jeep trips around Olkhon island: 500 rubles per person
- Daily summer boat sunset cruises / 2 hours: 600 rubles per person
- Daily summer boat islands & mineral springs cruises / 7 hours: 1500 rubles per person

There is no running water on the island. Warm water is available in the dinning room. Banya / steam bath is available upon request. Price: 200 rubles per person.

Directions

To get to Khuzir form Irkutsk you need to get a bus from Irkutsk main bus station. You just need to buy the ticket to Khuzir(Õóæèð) as the bus does not have a number. There is no bus service in winter! Bus time table ( 20May- 15 December) everyday 10 a.m.( please note the schedule might change so please find out in advance) In July and August there is an additional bus service at 12 noon or 2 pm.

In winter and summer we offer transfers from Irkutsk. We can pick you up anywhere in Irkutsk and take you to the guesthouse

*Total of 8000 ( up to 12 people) minibus;

If you are getting there yourself :

The main central street of Khuzir village is Baikalskaya. Usually the bus makes its last stop at the center of the Baikalaskaya, near the local school. Baikalskaya street devides Khuzir into left and right side. The right side is closer to the forest. So you should go inland towards the forest - do it by Lenina street with the post office which you leave behind.

Go 100 meters further till the Lesnaya street and turn to the right where you will see the beginning of the Lesnaya street and the guesthouse N3.
