Black Mamba Backpackers has now moved to the South Coast of Durban on the route to or from Cape Town.
We are situated in a laid back quiet area. 700 m from a beautiful beach, perfect for surfing, wind surfing, snorkeling, rock fishing, spearfishing and body-boarding. We are also situated 1.2km from South Africa's No. 1 diving spots Aliwal Shoal. With a wide variety of dive centres to choose from. We are also 10 mins drive from one of South Coasts top Surfing and Wind Surfing spots Scottburgh Beach.
Black Mamba Backpackers is also situated just 5 mins drive from Croc World, the largest Croc farm on the South Coast & Wild Coast, containing over 2000 crocs, with a large variety of Birds and Snakes. Experience Cage Diving with Tiger Sharks, Open water Diving with Bull Sharks and loads more activites, all within Black Mamba Backpackers 10km Radius.

Off The N2 From Durban or Coffee Bay, take the Umkomaas, Craigeburn exit (117). At the T-junction, turn left or right respectively and follow to Ukmomaas for 500m. Take the first turn to your right at a Substation (power unit) into a road called 'St Joseph'. Drive for 1.2km on that road. (houses on you right and golf course on your left). After 800m the road name changes to Cheltenham Rd. There will be a road to your left after 1.1km called Hilltop Rd. The gate at the corner of Hilltop Rd and Cheltenham Rd on your left with a concrete fence is Black Mamba Lodge. 100m down the road along the wall is a 2nd gate at the 3 Way intersection.
