'DOUBLE PRIVATE' - this is a lovely, quiet, private room with a Queen Bed. It has its own entrance from the hall. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with two friendly and respectful women. It can sleep up to 2 people. The price is the same for 1 or 2 people. Price varies from $60-$75/night based on time of year.

'4-BED ENSUITE' - this is a full, private, One-Bedroom apartment with a large backyard. There is a Double Bed in the bedroom, and a comfortable Queen Futon in the living room. That means there are 2 beds, sleeping a total of 4 people. The price is a flat rate for 1-4 guests. Price varies from $100-$140/night based on time of year.

'6-BED ENSUITE' - this is a full, private, Two-Bedroom apartment with lots of space and high ceilings. The bedrooms have one Double Bed, and one Queen Bed, plus a comfy Queen Futon in the living room. That means there are 3 beds, sleeping a total of 6 people. The price is a flat rate for 1-6 people. Price varies from $125-$175/night based on time of year.

All units are comfortable, well-decorated, and eco-friendly. All organic linens and towels are provided, as well as coffee, coffee maker (and grinder), cable tv, wifi, and laundry.

The units are located in a three-story house in the Greenpoint / Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, and are comfortable, quiet, and well-furnished.

Often touted as 'The Hippest Neighborhood in America' this area of brooklyn is home to a fantastic music scene and some of the city's best restaurants, shops, bars, and galleries. And if you want to be a tourist manhattan is just one subway stop away.

The Lodge is clean, quiet, friendly, and private. Located on a quiet but central street, there is a subway just steps from the door. There is easy access by public transportation to all airports.

I am also a massage therapist and pilates teacher with an office in the house, so if you need to unwind, or work off a few vacation pounds, just let me know!!

Why stay in a shared hostel when for as little as $30/person you could have your own private apartment?

CANELLATION POLICY: Because I am a small, boutique hostel, late cancellations are very harmful to my business. For this reason there is a 50% cancellation fee two weeks before the start of the reservation, and 100% cancellation fee one week before. I will do everything within my power to secure a reservation for the cancelled period and refund whatever percentage I have been able to cover.

ACCESS: There is self check-in with a keypad entry. Once you have made your booking I will send you an email with the entry code and check-in instructions. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER WITHOUT THIS CODE. So it is absolutely imperative that you check your email and bring it with you.
Check-in is 3pm and check-out is noon. Baggage storage for late early arrival or late departure must be specifically arranged and is subject to a $20 fee.

Directions

We are just steps from the Nassau Avenue G train, out of the Norman ave exit, so it's easy to travel by subway from all the major airports without lugging your suitcase for blocks.

We are also close to the Bedford ave. L train, which is only one stop from downtown Manhattan.

if driving, we are very close to the McGuinness ave and Morgan ave exits from the BQE.

From LaGuardia airport a taxi is easiest and is usually around $25 and takes 15 minutes.

From JFK a taxi is about $35-$45 and takes 20-30 minutes. Or you can take the AirTrain to Jamaica, switch to the E subway towards Manhattan, get off at 21st St/Ely Ave and switch to the G train towards Smith/9th St. Go 3 stops and get off at the Nassau Ave. stop. Take the Norman ave exit, cross Manhattan ave, and we are the first house with a front yard on the left. This is a fairly easy trip, and takes about 75 minutes - faster than going to Manhattan.

From Newark Airport I prefer to take the bus to Bryant Park (just exit the airport, and the buses come right out front. ask for any bus to Manhattan and it's about $12) and then a taxi from there, which is about $15. Otherwise you can take the train to Grand Central, then get the 7 train to the G train to the Nassau Ave stop, Norman ave exit. There are alot of steps to climb to transfer from the 7 to the G train, so it's not the best way to go if you have alot of baggage.
