We are located in Southwestern Montana, Park County North of Bozeman, Montana. We are surrounded by extraordinary picturesque landscape and majestic mountain peaks in the heart of the Shields River Valley! Our proximity to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, hundreds of miles of Blue Ribbon trout waters, ski resorts, historical monuments, and the surrounding 1.8 million acre Gallatin National Forest provides an abundant playground for endless recreational opportunities!.

Experience exhilarating alpine meadow hikes and glacier lakes with post card views and sense the beauty of this diverse ecosystem amidst the brightly colored meadows full of wild flowers, plunging waterfalls, sweeping overlooks, limestone outcroppings, gorgeous vistas, and abundant wildlife. Then soak away a days hike or ski trip in our soothing hot tub while sipping on wine or waiting on a home cooked meal. Indulge your senses in an array of Summer and Winter activities that we can arrange for you during your stay with us! From fly fishing blue ribbon trout streams and rivers, hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting to golf in the Summer. Winter includes sports like snowmobile trips through Yellowstone Park, skiing, indoor kart racing, to romantic sleigh rides and dog sledding!

Accommodations

Our lodge consists of a comfortable modern ranch home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dining room, and living room. Clean and very efficient design lets you relax and enjoy your Montana vacation!

A quite setting along the Shields River allows for a mellow atmosphere while a nicely sized, weel kept yard provides a peaceful playground for families to enjoy their time here in Montana with us.

Rooms/Suites

The guest room is furnished with a King sized bed, full sized dresser with oversized mirror, reclining chair, and it's own full bathroom complete with shower and double sink/vanity, open closet, and another dresser.

The spare bedroom is furnished with 2-4 bunk beds, and dresser.

The living room is fully furnished with wood buring fire place, coffee table, sofa, direct TV, very comfortable with a small view of the Bridger Mountains.

The kitchen is well equiped with everything you need as the host will take care of all your needs while staying here with us!

Directions

Fly into Bozeman aiprport (BZN), where we will pick you up, or...take Interstate 90 to 89 North just East of Livingston, Montana. Follow 89 North 22 miles to the town of Wilsall. Just past the post office on the edge of town take a right onto Shields River road. Go 6 miles to Bright Lane ( green sign left side of road w/mailboxes). Continue down dirt driveway to the split, take a right, follow to last house (only two on this stretch of driveway!) to brown ranch home.
